I have a deck of em that I found in my room a little while ago and I think it's called the bait & bludgeon deck. I have absolutely no idea how to play it though. I saw some dudes playing it once before and they were flipping the cards around so much that I just got scared and ran off

Magic came out waaaaay before yugioh did. I didnt get into it but apparently it was kick ass and still is. Well, it out lived both pokemon cards and yugioh cards so I'd say its pretty awesome.
Still is one crazy ass game if you ask me though.

Wasn't that a dodge version of yugio? A dodgy version of yu-gi-oh? You have got to be kidding me. You get a smiting for that one stroudy. Yu-Gi-Oh requires no strategy to play, seeing as kids play it. Magic requires a ton of strategy, and I don't see many kids playing it at all... Actually, it's gone a bit downhill, seeing as they've changed the rules to make it more newb friendly, but apart from that, it's still as strong as it was when it came out.

Man I just tried reading the rules. There is sooooo much shit! So much stuff to remember but I can see how it would be awesome fun with heaps of people too. Might learn how to play this, so called, Magic....

Might learn how to play this, so called, Magic.... Don't read the rules too much... Just find others who play, and play lots. You'll find that's more enjoyable than worrying about the rules. Yu-Gi-Oh requires no strategy to play, seeing as kids play it. Magic requires a ton of strategy, and I don't see many kids playing it at all... Actually, I lied. Yu-Gi-Oh has strategy, it's just not as involved as the strategy used in Magic. And there's plenty of kids who play Magic. Just most of the people I play with regularly are older (And have been playing it since it came out in 1993)
